Don Bradman Cricket 14 is a cricket simulation released for Windows PCs in 2014. This PC release of Don Bradman Cricket 14 was more than just a port of the console version that appeared in early 2014 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Big Ant Studios took stock of the flaws in their initial release and built the fixes for them into the PC version, making this one of best attempts at a cricket simulation yet. The game features three different gaming modes: career, custom matches, and multiplayer. The career mode allows you to create a player persona and follow a career lasting up to 20 years. It also features a cricket academy where you can create or change a team’s player roster or edit the players themselves. You get the stats for real-life players to create your own fantasy league. It includes 79 different teams that recreate real-world teams, which includes international, English, Australian, and historical teams. It also has 11 different playing fields inspired by real-world locations. Don Bradman Cricket 14 shines when it comes to a realistic 3D cricket experience. The game engine’s ball physics models momentum and ricochet angles realistically, and the batting controls feel natural to those who’ve played cricket before. You can appeal umpire rulings, and Matthew Hill and David Basheer offer their voices as the in-game commentators. The game also maintains realism with AI opponents that behave like real cricket players. The AI will employ tactics you’d expect with experienced players, and the ball physics makes every pitch feel unique instead of one of a limited set of animation scripts. You’ll even here random announcements from the commentators that you would hear at a real match, such as asking parents to come retrieve a child lost in the bleachers. Multiplayer gaming is more challenging than solo play because a human opponent is more creative than AI. The inclusion of online games in Don Bradman Cricket 14 adds replayability to this title for this reason. Overall, it’s probably one of the best cricket simulations on the market today. Pros Realistic cricket simulation The PC version improves on the console release Cons Multiplayer mode isn’t cooperative .

The Main Features of Don Bradman Cricket
Don Bradman Cricket 14 features several game modes including online games, a career mode, and custom matches. The Career Mode is designed for the aspiring young cricketer. The Cricket Academy program allows the user to create and edit players, teams and competitions. The game allows you to practice nets and hone your skills prior to starting the game. There are over 150,000 Community created teams and players ready to be downloaded and used. Even without pitch markers, the Unique Bowling and Batting Controls give the player full 360 Shot control, Line and Length delivery. The Electronic Review and Appeal system allows you to challenge the first time decisions of the umpires.
The fact that the game developers have cannily recorded the commentators mentioning the surnames of real life globally acknowledged cricket players gives the game a near enough feel of a fully-licensed cricket experience. In this game, you are always involved at every stage!
